BIOGRAPHY
Bill Zarvis received his B.A. degree in English Literature from Duquesne University. A
lifetime resident of Pittsburgh, PA , he has been involved in with art his entire life. In 2009 he was accepted as a member to the Associated Artist of Pittsburgh.
Through The Pittsburgh Glass Center he developed his skills as a glass engraver and carver, and has been working with glass for nearly twenty years. During that period he has assisted many local glass artists with his cold working expertise. For the past ten years Bill has been fusing, casting and carving glass in his Bethel Park studio.
His work ranges from simple production pieces to large sculptures. He has received
awards from the AAP and The City of Brea Gallery (Los Angeles) and his art has been displayed in the following: Hodge Gallery, BE Gallery, Morgan Contemporary Glass Gallery, 937 Gallery, Falling Water, Nemocolin Woodlands, The City of Brea Gallery, and The Carnegie Museum of Art.
